The man who was convicted of killing a Troy teenager back in 2007 is in trouble with the law once again.

State Police say 33-year-old Brian Ramirez-Ortiz was arrested Sunday after allegedly hitting his wife with a metal pole then damaging her car. He ran from the scene but was later taken into custody at the Hannaford Plaza on Round Lake Road in Round Lake. He was arraigned on several charges and sent to the Saratoga County Jail. Ramirez-Ortiz previously spent time in prison for stabbing 17-year-old Jacob Crumble to death following an altercation outside of the Martin Luther King Apartment Complex in Troy.
