Due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19, there will be new rules in effect Monday for people who visit the State Capitol.

Access is now limited to people who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus or those who can show they've tested negative for the COVID-19 within 48 hours of their visit. Entry is only being allowed from the Empire State Plaza concourse level and everyone must wear a mask inside the Capitol. Also, the Legislative Office Building has been closed until further notice.
