GTSC Releases Results of Impaired Driving Crackdown Campaign

The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee has announced the results of its latest impaired driving crackdown campaign.

From December 17th through January 1st, police statewide issued over 2,000 tickets to drivers who were under the influence behind the wheel. Officials say police are always looking out for dangerous drivers and are committed to keeping roadways safe for everyone. Over 62,000 other tickets were also handed out for offenses such as distracted driving, speeding and seatbelt violations.
