State Police have arrested two people on several charges following a pursuit that ended in a crash.
Troopers tried to pull over a vehicle on Northern Boulevard in Albany Tuesday but the driver, 28-year-old Douglas El Shaquille sped off which led to a chase that ended when his vehicle collided with another car near Exit 3B on Interstate 787. A search of the vehicle El Shaquille was operating led to police finding a handgun and they also saw his passenger 20-year-old Drew Greene had a scale with cocaine residue on it. Both men were arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail
