A Troy man is facing several charges after State Police say nearly one kilogram of cocaine was discovered inside of his vehicle.

Last week, Troopers pulled over 48-year-old Samuel Robinson for a traffic stop while he was entering the Thruway on-ramp from State Route 9W in Albany. Robinson tried to run away but was quickly captured and police found approximately 920 grams of cocaine in the car and a digital scale. He was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail without bail.
