Governor Hochul is warning residents about scams and cyber security threats because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The state's Division of Consumer Protection is aware of bogus requests for charitable relief money. Hochul advises folks to donate to verified organizations that use the money to help Ukrainians. She's also reminding residents to be on alert when sharing personal information online and be cautious with information sharing on social media.
