New York's Lieutenant Governor is the focus of a federal probe into campaign fraud. Brian Benjamin tells the New York Post he was questioned by the feds earlier this year in connection with conspiracy and wire fraud charges filed in November against a Harlem landlord. Gerry Migdol is accused of making illegal contributions to Benjamin's ill-fated campaign for city comptroller.

Federal investigators have also issued subpoenas regarding grants Benjamin reportedly steered to Harlem.

The Lieutenant Governor was a Harlem state senator before being tapped by Governor Kathy Hochul for the number two spot.
