Albany's police chief says the driver behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle that crashed and killed a teenager is likely going to face charges.

Eric Hawkins says the driver refused to stop for police last Monday night which led to a brief pursuit. The chase ended when the vehicle struck a building in the area of Broadway and Lawn Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle, 13-year-old Tea'Shawn Walker, was hurt and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Both police and the state Attorney General's office are investigating the incident.
