This weekend, horses that will competing at Saratoga Race Course this summer will begin getting ready for the upcoming season.
The first horses will take to the Oklahoma Training Track in Saratoga Springs Saturday. The New York Racing Association made significant upgrades to the track such as reconstructing the surface and also replacing the inner rail with a rider protection system. Starting April 29th, fans can watch horses train from 7:00 am until 10:00 am Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This year's meet at the "Summer Place to Be" starts July 14th.
