Catalytic converter thefts are on the rise in Columbia County.
State Police say they've received numerous reports about these crimes, adding they're happening at all hours of the day. Troopers are urging community members to lock their vehicles, park in places with good lighting, and to stay vigilant. No arrests have been made in connection to the recent catalytic converter thefts, but police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
