The man accused of committing a homicide in Albany County has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge filed against him.

On Thursday, 40-year-old Jacob Klein made his first appearance in New Scotland Town Court. Police say Klein killed 35-year-old Philip Rabadi at the victim's home on Miller Road in New Scotland last week. Klein was taken into custody in Virginia days after the crime and was recently extradited back to the area. Officials still haven't released any information about the motive for Rabadi's murder. Klein is currently being held in the Albany County Jail without bail.
