Starting Thursday, the City of Schenectady will be temporarily suspending its rules for curbside tree branch collection.
Officials say the move is being made to help residents clean up from a winter storm that hit the area earlier this week. The rules will remain suspended until April 29th, and people are urged to leave any debris they want to get rid of on the curb for pickup. Anyone with questions can contact the city's Department of General Services.
