Governor Hochul is promising a safety report on New York's stretch limousines will be completed.

The governor said Thursday she's extending the deadline for the Stretch Limousine Passenger Safety Task Force to finish its work to October 1st. Hochul says the families of the 20 people who were killed in the Schoharie limo crash back in 2018 deserve to see real change to prevent similar tragedies in the future. Following a two-year hiatus, the task force has met twice so far this year and will hold another meeting Friday.
