Some of the best horses in the country will be taking part in the Kentucky Derby Saturday, and Skidmore College is going to be getting some time in the national spotlight.
That's because Mo Donegal, who is one of the horses competing in the prestigious event, will be wearing the name and colors of the school thanks to alumni Ken Freirich, who is a partner in the Donegal Racing group. Mo Donegal earned his spot in the race by pulling off an upset in the Wood Memorial earlier this year. Post time for the 148th Kentucky Derby is set for 6:57 pm Saturday.
