New York State is making a $35 million investment to provide direct support for women from not just New York but other states, to abortion providers in anticipation of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
Governor Hochul said Tuesday that $25 million will go to providers to help them expand capacity and ensure access for all patients who seek abortion care in the Empire State. Also, $10 million in grants will be available to implement security measures at abortion care facilities.

Funds can be used to bring out-of-state abortion-seekers to New York.

Hochul says New York has always been at the forefront of the fight for abortion rights and she won't let the state go backwards.
