The sports betting industry is continuing to be a massive success in the Empire State.

Since January, the state has generated over $267-million in tax revenue from sports wagering and mobile wagering has accounted for $263-million. So far, New York has already collected more money in sports wagering revenue than both New Jersey and Pennsylvania have each made since 2018. The tax revenue is being reinvested in education, grants for youth sports programming and problem gambling prevention treatment.
