With the July 4th holiday weekend just a few days away, the price of gas is falling across the Capital Region.
According to Triple A, the average cost for a gallon of regular fuel is currently $4.89. That's down $.06 from last week but is $.02 higher than last month and is $1.80 more than this time last year. The state average is now $4.96 a gallon while nationally it's $4.90.
