Troy Receives $10 Million Dollars From State to Repave, Improve Roads

Troy has received $10-million in funding from the state to help repave and improve roads in the Collar City.

Mayor Patrick Madden said Monday the money is coming from New York's Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program. Mayor Madden says plans are in the works to pave 12.5 miles of streets in the next year. Street closures and detours due to' any road work will be announced in advance and residents can sign up for alerts by visiting troyny.gov/connect.
