Schenectady County to Receive More Resources to Battle Opioid Crisis

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says Schenectady County is going to be receiving additional resources to battle the ongoing opioid crisis.

The Democrat announced Thursday that the county has been designated as a high intensity drug trafficking area. That means the county will be provided with more equipment and technology to help end the opioid epidemic. Just last month, the City of Schenectady had four deadly drug overdoses in a one week period.
