The National Weather Service says a heat advisory will be in effect from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday day and Troy officials say residents will have several ways to stay cool.

Mayor Patrick Madden says mobile sprinklers will be provided by the Troy Fire Department from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm through Saturday. The South Troy Pool is also going to be open for residents from 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm daily and there's no cost for them to swim. Splash pads will also be up and running at various Collar City parks from sunrise to sunset.
