Colonie Police Release Name of Woman Hit And Killed by Vehicle

Colonie police have released the name of the woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle earlier this week.

According to investigators, 40-year-old Stacy Benoit of Albany was hit Monday night in the area of Central Avenue and Fairfield Avenue. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call 518-783-2744.
