The getaway driver who was involved in a shooting that took the life of an 11-year-old Troy boy could be spending up to the next 15 years in prison.
On Wednesday, a judge sentenced 22-year-old Jahquay Brown of Cohoes for his role in the death of Ayshawn Davis. Davis was struck in the head by a bullet while he was standing outside of a building on Old Sixth Avenue in September 2020. Brown was found not guilty of murder but was convicted on a manslaughter charge.
