Following hours of deliberations, a jury in Schenectady County has found a foster father guilty of killing a four-year-old boy.
On Monday, jurors convicted 29-year-old Dequan Greene on multiple charges including murder, manslaughter, and child endangerment. Greene is accused of taking the life of Charlie Garay and attacking the boy's older brother at a home on Broadway in Rotterdam in December 2020. Greene, who denied any involvement in Garay's murder, is facing 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in December.
