The woman who has been leading the Albany School District for the last few years is going to be leaving the position soon.
Superintendent Kaweeda Adams says that she's going to depart in January and take a new job where she'll be advocating for students across the state. Adams came to Albany after working for close to three decades in Nevada. The school board is going to appoint an interim superintendent before beginning search for the person who will take over on a permanent basis.
