Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is calling on Amtrak to reveal exactly when train service between the Capital Region and Montreal is going to be restored.

The Adirondack Line has been shut down since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and so far, Amtrak is only saying service will resume in 2023. Stefanik says that answer isn't good enough because she believes families in the North Country and Upstate New York deserve certainty. Amtrak has already resumed service between New York City and Toronto.
