Schenectady lawmakers are holding a meeting Thursday night where residents will be able to discuss the housing issues they're currently facing.
City Councilman Carl Williams says the goal of this forum is to generate ideas on how to deal with these problems before legislation is created to address them. According to a recent study by the CoStar Group, the average rent in Schenectady County has gone up nearly 10-percent since 2019. Tonight's meeting goes from five-30 p-m until seven-30 p-m at the Boys and Girls Club on Education Drive.
