Four pediatric flu deaths are being reported in New York State.
Health officials note there have been some 166,000 flu cases reported in New York this season. Cases have increased some 19% in the last week from the first week of December. There's also been a 6% climb in hospitalizations. New York health officials are urging residents to get their free flu shot before gathering for the holidays. It comes as some major retailers, like Walgreens and CVS, put purchase limits on children's pain and fever medications.
