Albany Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Woman Who Allegedly Abused Two Cats

Albany police have arrested an 18-year-old woman who is accused of allegedly abusing two cats.

Investigators say Yemeena Anderson left the animals locked in a vehicle on Livingston Avenue during cold weather last month and that the cats were malnourished and dehydrated when they were found. Both animals were taken to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society for evaluation. Anderson is charged with animal cruelty and is scheduled to be in court on Thursday.
