A Saratoga Springs official has revealed the price tag for repairs to a recent water main break that happened in the city.

The Department of Public Works Commissioner says the break in the area of Excelsior Avenue and East Avenue on New Year's Day will end up costing the Spa City $30-thousand. Most of that money was spent to purchase bottled water for residents because the break triggered a boil water advisory that has since been lifted. It's believed that the break happened due to the age of the pipe.
