The 15-year-old who is accused of murdering five members of his highly-religious family in Fall City, Washington, tried to frame his younger brother for the crime. According to a police report obtained by the Daily Mail, the teenager told investigators that his 13-year-old brother was responsible for the killings, which shocked the small town.

The teen, who called 911 to report the horrific crime, claimed his brother got caught watching pornography the night before and fatally shot his mother and father, Mark and Sarah Humiston, and three of his four siblings, Katheryn, 7, Joshua, 9, and Benjamin, 13, before taking his own life.

His 11-year-old sister survived the shooting by playing dead until she was able to escape and run to her neighbor's house. She was taken to the hospital but has since been discharged.

However, investigators quickly realized the teen wasn't telling the truth based on forensic evidence at the scene. They said that it appeared the crime scene had been staged, noting that while the Glock pistol used in the shooting was found in Benjamin's hand, there was no evidence that he fired it. In addition, the blood splatter on his face was in the wrong place.

The teen's sister also told investigators that it was her 15-year-old brother who shot her.

The teen was taken into custody and is facing five counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Authorities have not determined a motive for the shooting.
