Hillary, Please Go Away

I'd had my fill of Hillary Clinton.  30+ years is enough.  Let's give someone else a chance to speak, preferably someone who has a better relationship with the facts.  Hillary surfaced this week, giving a speech to businesswomen in San Francisco.  She ripped White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, not by name, for chiding a female journalist during the daily press briefing Tuesday.  The journalist was not happy with some of Spicer's answers , or non-answers, and kept shaking her head in disapproval.  Spicer asked her to stop.  Says Hillary, "Too many women have had a lifetime of practice taking this kind of indignity in stride."  What???  I watched the entire briefing live.  I saw the exchange as it unfolded.  I've spent decades in the news business.  What happened yesterday had nothing to do with the fact that the reporter was a woman. Spicer battles with the media aggressively every day and they give it right back to him.  He behaves the same way with EVERY reporter who challenges him....male, female, black or white.  Injecting gender-bias where it does not exist not only hurts Hillary's credibility, it also diminishes legitimate cases of misogyny.  Kelly and I talked about that and why people are going after Melania. - Chuck
