Two police officers from Amsterdam have just been honored for their quick thinking. On the morning of July 4th, they saw a car running a red light. The car wouldn't stop, so... the chase was on. Turns out, it wasn't a drunk or a bad guy, but a dad who got out of the car with his six week old daughter. The baby was choking and he was rushing to get help. Officers Keelan Zyzes and Eduardo Ortiz jumped into action and after several chest compressions, the infant vomited and began breathing again.
The child was evaluated at the hospital and released. Later in the day, the family ran into the officers and thanked them for saving their baby's life.
