President Trump signed the S. 2553, - Know the Lowest Price Act and S. 2554 – Patients Right to Know Drug Prices Act. They became laws this week than banned "gag clauses" which insurers used to prohibit pharmacists from discussing lower-cost options with patients, causing them to overpay for drugs they need.

Secretary Azar is an American politician, lawyer and former drug company executive who is the current United States Secretary of Health and Human Services. He was nominated by President Donald Trump on November 13, 2017 and confirmed by the United States Senate on January 24, 2018.
