Looking for a New Career? Here are the Best Places to Work In The U.S.

Everybody hopes to one day work in a place they really love, and there are some folks out there who are already experiencing that joy. So what are the companies most loved by their staff? Well, Glassdoor has compiled their 11th annual Employees' Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work in 2019, based solely on voluntarily feedback from employees.

The list is split into two categories, the 100 Best Places to Work, which consists of companies with more than 1,000 employees, and the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work For, which is for organizations with less than 1,000 workers. All companies are rated on a scale of one to five, with one being very dissatisfied, and five being very satisfied.

Overall, the management consulting firm Bain & Company tops the list this year for large companies, with a rating of 4.6. According to the site, 96% of employees would recommend the company to a friend, with at least one reviewer noting they are “proud to be a part of this company.” Meanwhile, last year’s number one. Facebook, drops all the way down to seven, with a rating of 4.5.

  10. Southwest Airlines (4.4)

As for small and medium size companies, the enterprise software & network solutions company Heap tops the list, with a 5.0 rating, and 100% of employees willing to recommend it to a friend.
