A new study found that watching football is actually good for your heart. Researchers from the University of Leeds analyzed 25 fans during three Championship games. They found, heart rates increased approximately 64%, which is the equivalent to an hour and a half of brisk walking.

The study also found that a fan's blood pressure was reduced and their mood increased when they saw their team win.

However, seeing their team loose had the opposite effect.
