Sen. Tedisco Creates Petition to Stop New York License Plate Tax

Sen. Jim Tedisco has launched a petition to stop Gov. Cuomo's license plate tax. Beginning in April, if a license plate is 10 years old or more, it will be mandatory to get a replacement at the cost of $25. Drivers would be charged $20 more to keep the current plate number.

Tedisco is urging New York residents to sign his petition stating "Send a message to the Governor, DMV, and the Legislative leaders that we are sick and tired of the state constantly reaching into our wallets."

Tedisco's petition can be found here.
