Earlier this month, a horrifying school bus ride took place for a group of children in Washington State. One of the kids was so terrified that he called 9-1-1 when he got home – reporting that the driver now identified as 48-year-old Catherine Maccarone, smelled of alcohol and had driven through three red lights while students were on board.
By the time police caught up with her, Maccarone had completed her routes for the day and fortunately, no one was hurt. Officers report that she smelled of booze and took her into custody. Now we’re getting a look at the terrifying ride Maccarone took the kids on.
In the police report, Maccarone denied running any red lights and said she was taking anti-anxiety and sleep medication... either way, she’s now resigned and the school district says they’re working to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
