Yaroslav Suris is suing PornHub because their cinematic finery... isn’t closed-captioned. Citing the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act the suit mentions Suris’ inability to enjoy titles such as “Hot Step Aunt Visits Disobedient Nephew” and “Sexy Cop Gets Witness To Talk”… films where the dialogue is key.
Because the content isn’t closed-captioned, Suris says Porn Hub is committing a “discriminatory act,” rather than giving the hearing impaired the “same rights and opportunities as everyone else.”
Where’s Porn Hub stand? Vice President Corey Price points out that Porn Hub does have a “closed-caption” category for their videos, and it’s accessible even for those who don’t have a paid subscription. It’s also worth noting that, in the past, Suris has sued the New York Post, Fox News, and other online outlets for the same thing… and now he’s seeking “compensatory damages, civil penalties, and fines” against Porn Hub.?
