Presidential candidate and Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard doesn’t appreciate being called a “Russian asset” and now, she’s suing Hillary Clinton over it. As you might recall, back in October Clinton quipped that that one of the 2020 Democratic candidates is "the favorite of the Russians” during a podcast interview. When asked if she was referring to Gabbard, Clinton added, “If the nesting doll fits..."
Gabbard’s calling that defamation, says the lie has hurt her White House campaign – and wants $50-million in damages.
Clinton has yet to respond to the suit.
