A man led police on a high speed chase in Washington. They eventually were able to stop him with spike strips. When they approached the car, they found the guy in the drivers seat, with a pit bull on his lap. He told police that he was teaching the dog how to drive and that the dog was steering while he worked the pedals.
He was charged with DUI, hit and run and eluding police. The dog was not charged.
Police in West Virginia got a call about a domestic incident. When they showed up, a guy hopped in his car and sped away. They followed him and at one point he hopped out of his car, jumped in a river, hopped on a log and floated downstream.
Police were waiting for him downstream, where they pulled him out of the water and arrested him.
In the UK, people aren't allowed to leave their homes, so some have resorted to some pretty creative ways to avoid detection.
There are two videos that are going viral. One is a guy dressed as a shrub. He runs a few feet and squats down. Then, he runs across the street and crouches down again. His neighbors recorded him.
Another video shows two people in garbage bags. All you can see are their feet. They run down the street and crouch down together so it looks like two trash bags on the street. Then they stand up and keep running. But one falls over and can't get up. You can see that video here.
