Happy Hour: Grandma Gets "Act of Courage" Award After Fighting Off Robber

In the UK, a robber learned the hard way not to judge a book by its cover. He tried to rob a mini mart, but he had no idea what he was up against. The store was being run by an 83 year old grandmother and she couldn't find the panic button to alert police. So she did the next best thing. She grabbed her cane and started beating the guy with it.

And it worked. The would be robber ran off empty handed. Police caught the guy, and she was just honored with an "Act of Courage" award. And the whole thing was caught on video, which you can see here.

A World War 2 veteran, a woman, at 102, has just crossed another item off her bucket list. She just went skydiving.

Her name is Millie Bailey and she was recently asked if there was anything left in her life that she had yet to do. And this was it. She was inspired by president George HW Bush, who jumped out of a plane at the age of 90. So she did the same thing with friends and family waiting on the ground. She landed safely... And so happy.
