I was privileged to speak with Historian Josh Frank who specializes in Europe WWII and searches for our military members lost in action. Josh works for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency - Fulfilling Our Nation's Promise. This agency conducts searches for the remains of those missing in action from past wars and conflicts: World War II, Korean, Vietnam War, Cold War, Iraq & other conflicts and Unknowns. Next they attempt to identify the remains and, when successful, return their remains to their family members/relatives for a full Military Honors Funeral.
