Michael Brown, a landscaper in North Carolina, was arrested for throwing a massive unauthorized party at a $4.3 million mansion in Weddington. Brown, 37, who owns Brown's Dream Team Landscaping, invited hundreds of guests to the home while the owners were on vacation, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.

The party, which was advertised on social media, attracted mostly teens and young adults. Attendees were charged an entry fee, which Brown allegedly pocketed. Police were alerted to the scene after neighbors reported noise and traffic issues. Upon arrival, officers discovered the party and identified Brown as the organizer. Initially, Brown claimed to be the homeowner, but later admitted he was the landscaper with no relation to the property owners.

Authorities charged Brown with breaking and entering, second-degree trespassing, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, injury to real property, and obtaining property by false pretenses. He was released on a $10,000 bond. Despite the charges, Brown maintains his innocence, claiming the event was a graduation party for his son and his son's friends. He also expressed confidence that he would continue to work for the homeowners.

The party left the mansion with assorted property damage, and the homeowners were unaware of the event until they returned. Neighbors expressed concern over the disturbance, with one resident, Wendy Squires, telling WBTV, "I was like, that’s not a venue, how are they managing this?"
