Colonie police are continuing their investigation into a crash that left a Brooklyn man seriously injured.
According to officials, the driver was traveling on Central Avenue Wednesday when his vehicle went off the road and slammed into several utility poles, causing power to go out in the surrounding area. When crews got to the scene, the vehicle was still tangled in wires and the man had to be pulled from the wreckage. He was taken to Albany Med, but no information has been released on his condition. Police believe speed may have been a factor and say the driver will face charges.
