Albany Man Arrested in Connection With Stabbing at Schodack Motel

An Albany man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that happened at a Rensselaer County motel.

According to State Police, 39-year-old Dominick Mariani assaulted a 37-year-old man Friday at the Four Seasons Motel located on Columbia Turnpike in Schodack. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and will be OK. Police say he and Mariani know each other but didn't reveal the nature of their relationship. Mariani was arraigned and sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
